Heart of the Mountain is a cinematic, story-driven adventure that places you at the centre of your own movie or adventure video game. You and your team will step into a highly detailed, immersive movie set designed by industry professionals, complete with special effects, dynamic lighting, smoke, simulated explosions, and incredible engineering magic that bring the world to life.This is not a time-pressured escape game—instead, you’ll work together to solve puzzles, overcome challenges, and uncover secrets at your own pace. A custom immersive soundtrack enhances your connection to the adventure, making you feel like a true explorer on a daring expedition.

2. How long does the experience last?
The adventure lasts around 60 minutes. There’s no countdown clock or rush to finish, so you can fully engage with the world and story. Please plan for an additional 15–20 minutes for check-in, a briefing, and a debrief afterward.
3. How many people can participate?
Heart of the Mountain is designed for teams of 2 to 8 players. Every participant plays an important role, and teamwork is essential for uncovering the full story. For larger private bookings, please contact us in advance.
4. Will we be locked inside?
No. You are never physically locked in at any point. While the experience is designed to feel thrilling and immersive, you are free to leave if necessary, though doing so may disrupt the flow of your adventure.
5. Do I need any special skills or prior experience?
Not at all! This experience is designed for first-time explorers and seasoned puzzle-solvers alike. All you need is curiosity, teamwork, and a sense of adventure.
6. Is this a scary experience?
No, but it is thrilling and immersive. Heart of the Mountain features low-light environments, tight spaces, dynamic sound effects, and simulated explosions that enhance the adventure. While there are no horror elements, we recommend checking the accessibility section below if you have any concerns about enclosed spaces, lighting, or sensory effects.

7. Is there an age requirement?
Yes, Heart of the Mountain is designed for players aged 16 and older. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Due to the complexity and intensity of the adventure, it is not suitable for young children.
8. Is this experience accessible to all players?
While we strive to make our experiences as inclusive as possible, Heart of the Mountain contains elements that may not be suitable for everyone, including:
- Low-light environments
- Tight or enclosed spaces
- Loud sound effects and immersive special effects
- Mild climbing, crouching, or uneven terrain

Yes! Heart of the Mountain is a limited experience, and we highly recommend booking ahead of time. Walk-ins are not guaranteed.
12. Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
We allow rescheduling with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Cancellations may be eligible for credit toward a future booking but are non-refundable.

Yes! We offer private bookings for corporate events, birthdays, and team-building experiences. Contact us to create a customized adventure for your group.
Gameplay & What to Expect
14. Can we ask for help?
Yes! The Park Ranger can be called upon to provide help if needed—but so will the magic of the mountain. Pay attention to your surroundings, trust your instincts, and let the adventure unfold.
15. What happens if we don’t solve everything?
Unlike traditional puzzle-based experiences, Heart of the Mountain is about the journey, not just the outcome. If you don’t complete every challenge, the adventure will still reach a satisfying conclusion. However, for those who fully explore and uncover every secret, a deeper layer of the story awaits.
16. Can we take photos or videos inside?
To preserve the mystery for future explorers, photography and video recording are not allowed inside.
17. Will we be playing with strangers?
No! All bookings are private for your group. You and your team will experience Heart of the Mountain together, with no strangers added.
Location & Arrival
18. Where are you located, and is there parking?
We are located inside the Marrickville Traders site at 14 Rich St, Marrickville, Sydney. There is on-street parking and a shared carpark nearby, but it can get busy, so please allow plenty of time to find parking and ensure you don’t miss out on adventure time.
19. What time should we arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time for check-in and briefing. Late arrivals may forfeit part of their experience or be rescheduled at our discretion.
20. Do you offer food or drinks?
We do not serve food or drinks, but we encourage you to celebrate your adventure at one of the nearby restaurants or cafés afterward.
What to Bring/Wear
21. What should we bring or wear?
- Enclosed shoes are essential for safety and comfort during the adventure, as you may need to walk on uneven terrain or move through tight spaces.
- Bags and accessories can be stored in designated lockers to ensure they are safe and won't be lost inside the adventure space.
